Abby turned 4 years old today. I can’t believe she is getting so big and so old. We had a really fun party for her yesterday at the Sweet Spot Bakery in the Irvine Spectrum. Abby and 6 of her friends got to decorate their own chef hat and then decorate their own cupcakes. It was super fun and super cute. Thanks to all the friends and family that braved the rain to come and help Abby celebrate her birthday!

We have been doing lots of fun Christmas activities lately, but unfortunately I forgot to take my camera to most of them
We had lots of fun a Disneyland, Bella Terra Christmas shows, Naples for dinner and a boat ride, and other things, but no pictures to prove it.
But here are a few of Abby decorating our gingerbread house and our Christmas tree. And of the snow night they had at church.

Whitney will be one year old tomorrow! I can’t she is no longer going to be a baby
We celebrated her birthday yesterday with a safari party with our family and friends. Whitney loved her birthday cupcake. She actually ate it all in one bite, so we gave her another one.
We are so thankful that God brought us through this last year. Whitney was a tough baby for a while, but we have such great family and friends that prayed for us and support us. Thank you everyone for the role you played in helping Whitney, and us, survive her first year!

Abby took a ballet class this fall. Her class did a recital on Thursday. It was so cute and Abby did so well. I was a little nervous because I thought she was going to be a bad dancer (like I am), but she actually did very well. She was adorable and the class was a big success!

We had another great Halloween at our church’s Trunk or Treat. We first went to dinner with my dad and Deb, and then we headed over to church. Abby was Alice in Wonderland and Whitney was a monkey. Abby had so much fun going trick or treating. She also enjoyed riding the ponies and the train. But her highlight of the evening was going fishing for a prize. Our church does a fantastic job and we love going to a safe and fun place!

Last week we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific with our friends Jack and Torrey. This was Abby’s first time there, and she loved it. It was a rainy day, so it was fun to have the kids out of the house and literally running all over the aquarium. Abby said her favorite thing was looking at the jelly fish and the seals, but I think it was playing on the boat.
Today we went to Disneyland to celebrate Jack’s 4th birthday. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and the kids had a great time running all over California Adventure and Disneyland. Abby even got a picture with her new favorite princess, Snow White.
We love our friends, Jack and Torrey, and are glad that we get to do lots of fun things with them!
